4 GAMES……..Count them…..4…..Against Philly! The team DIRECTLY BEHIND them! The Mets lost 4 of 4. HOW! Not only did they give up the lead, they FLAT OUT BLEW THEM!

Now they are playing the dreaded BRAVES. The team they can’t beat this year. All of a sudden they are hitting the crap out of the ball! What up with that? 7-1 in the 9th with 2 out……………..I am SERIOUSLY confused with the “lack of kill instinct” the METS have. Is this a World Series Team? Can it win a playoff game?

These are all questions we need to ask outselves as fans. David Wright has been phenominal in August. Jose Reyes has slacked off a little. Homerun tonight was good though. Carlos Delgado with a wonderful 3 run homer to get it all going! These are the Mets I have watched since last year.

 What the Mets NEED to do now is win the series for the first time against the Braves! With the lead down to 2 games in the east, they HAVE to get at least 2 of 3! Win tomorrow and hope to win on Sunday against a GREAT hitting Braves team!

Here we are on the ALL important road trip against Philly, Atlanta, and Cinci!
Sitting here watching game one against the Phillies and you know what? It AIN’T GOOD!

Lawerence tried…….Willie let him stay…….Jorge didn’t help much at all. Result…….9-2 Phillies!
The Mets still have 2 at bats left at the time of this post. Is 7 runs impossible? NO. Feasible? NO!

Bottom of the 8th now……. Still 9-2 so I am closing for now. This is KILLING me. They CAN’T beat the guys THEY NEED to beat!

My GAWD I love this! Tiki Barber, Eli Manning! Eli Manning, Tiki Barber! I just keeps going back and forth. I really need to give my take on the whole situation.

Eli as a reserved type of person. Not outgoing at all. He does what he does and that is all………. Tiki, on the other hand, is very outgoing. Tiki does not worry about what he says.

This is how I see it, Tiki Barber made a statement about Eli Manning. Was is a bad statement? NO!! Not at all. However, what Tiki has done is to create a MEDIA thing which is what he gets paid to do! You think this is wrong? Think again!

Eli Manning plays football! Tiki Barber is now an announcer! Hmmmmmmmm………………………..Let’s think about this for a second……………………Time UP! If you are working for the MEDIA, what would you do? Kiss ass or create controversy?

IMHO, Tiki did EXACTLY what he is supposed to do. TIKI created headlines. I do not think for a minute that he is angry about the return statements. Eli simply helped Tiki create some news by replying to his comments.

I love TIKI and what he did with the GIANTS! 1650 is a pretty good number, even if his heart was not there!

The only thing I have left to say is GOD bless you TIKI. May your new endeavor treat you well! Eli, could you keep up the hard-ass attitude for a little

YOU’RE KIDDING ME!  You think everything is good because the METS still have a 3 game lead in the east? If you think that is cool, take a look at what is happening. The METS are losing 2 of 3 in the series that means the most. We have been lucky to watch Philly and Atlanta smack each other.

There is no way that the METS can keep this lead with the way they are playing. Losing games when you have the lead is unthinkable. The bullpen needs to regroup and pitch the way they are capable. Mr. MOTA has a serious problem this year. He was the staple last year. Mr. Heilman needs to step it up a notch and throw like he did last year.

I will not complain about Billy Wagner, he blew only his second save opportunity. Not bad if you ask me! The group needs to step it up! That is all there is to it!

Ok people, the home stretch is comming. Let’s put it all together! Throw strikes and get players out! DO IT!

We are going into the season shortly and we, as fans, NEED to know what Michael Strahan is doing!!!!
HEY MIKE! If you happen to read this, TELL US! Look man, we love you and what you have done for the team. Do not leave us on the edge!  You, at 80%  will be better than what is there as proven in game 1 of the preseason. Let’s hope it does not get worse!

Ok, with that said, I think we will be OK at running back, even without TIKI!  Tiki did a WONDERFUL job, but he decided it was time to move on. GOD bless you TIKI and thanks for your wonderful contributions! Derek Ward looks like he is stepping up a little. That would be pretty cool. Brandon Jacob is a good back with power and speed. I have to think they will complement each other in a great way! You 2 need to make it all happen for the Giants!

Eli Manning, this is where there may be a problem. My thoughts on this are simple. The Giants gave up too much to get Eli simply becuase he is Payton’s brother. THIS AINT RACING PEOPLE!  Blood lines are not the same! OK!

I have seen enough out of ELI to believe he can be very good. It’s TIME for him to begin!! Get rid of the “Happy Feet” and create some plays for the team. THROW the ball away if nothing is there!  The sidelines are your friend at times! Use it when you must. Incompletions are better than interceptions!

That’s about it for now, until the next exibition. May not add more then either. I am not an exibition type person. I want to see the REAL THING!

This being my first post, I have a bunch of thoughts about NY sports.

Here we go!
Allow me to preface with the fact that I root for all NY teams….
With that out of the way, I am a Mets and Giants fan! Done deal! No exceptions!

The Mets are in the middle of a pennant race. The media asks really dumb questions, as always, about the importance of a game against their rival Braves! Is it that everyone in the MEDIA is stupid? Sure seems that way! How the frig can you  ask a question like “was this game important”? Any idiot knows, including the media, IT IS IMPORTANT ! MY GOD, how the f&*k could an ass%&$@ ask that question. Then, the same  ass%&$@ wonders why Willie is terse with his comments!

The media is f…ed up! I will not pull punches here! There is not enough of them being punched because they get in the way!  HELLO MEDIA, PLAYERS ARE PEOPLE TOO!

Ok, that out of the way, Willie Randolph for manager of the year! Win or lose! He IS my man! Fred should have hired him before the wimp! You know who I am talking about!

Antonio Pierce, I love this guy. Works, plays, practices, studies, to be the best. You can’t ask for more!
Michael Strahan, another guy I love. What the hell is with his holdout? When it costs you over 14 grand per day, how can you not make a decission? Us REGULAR people need to know! You are talking about a half years salary for many people!

Mr. Strahan, PLEASE make a decission! I know you know that you are hurting the team. PLEEEEEEZE let them know your intentions!
